Lighthouse Theatre is presenting Disney's My Son Pinocchio Jr., a new musical, which retells the classic Disney story from Geppetto’s perspective.
Lighthouse Theatre is the musical theatre program of Heritage Christian Online School, comprised of a dynamic group of 38 distributed learning/home schooled and public school students, ranging from Grades 2 to 12.
The students are committed to a high standard of excellence in acting, singing, and choreography, to the costumes and impressive set design.
My Son Pinocchio Jr. is a magical mix of heartwarming fairy tale and action-packed adventure, touching on the universal themes of family and love, as Geppetto learns what it means to become a father.
Performances are at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, beginning Wednesday, May 20 at 7 p.m., Friday, May 22 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 23 at 2 and 7 p.m.
