Country trio Rascal Flatts announce stop at Abbotsford Centre

Country trio Rascal Flatts have announced that their Forever Summer Playlist tour will continue into the fall, including a stop at Abbotsford Centre on Friday, Nov. 1.

The trio, who are currently touring across the U.S., added a special run of shows in Canada, kicking off Oct. 24 in Medicine Hat, Alta.

Special guests on the Canadian stops include Aaron Goodvin and Steven Lee Olsen.

Rascal Flatts has 10 albums and 17 number one hits to their credit.

The trio’s top 20 single Back To Life is currently ascending on country radio and follows back-to-back chart-topping singles Yours If You Want It and I Like The Sound Of That.

Rascal Flatts recently dropped a four-song EP, Jukebox, as a surprise for fans, featuring special spins on their most-loved songs.

The group has also earned more than 40 music awards, making them the most-awarded country group of the past decade.

Their concerts have sold more than 10 million tickets combined.

The group was formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 1999 and consists of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus on bass guitar and Joe Don Rooney on guitar and banjo.

Their Abbotsford concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $49.50 to $99,50 (plus service charges) and go on sale to the public starting Monday, June 24 at 10 a.m. at rascalflatts.com.

Other Canadian stops on the tour are Dawson Creek (Oct. 26), Prince George (Oct. 27), Kamloops (Oct. 29) and Penticton (Oct. 30).
