The next Envision Concert in the Park event is scheduled to take place on Sept. 21 from 6-8 p.m.
Len Kliewer will be the featured performer to take to the Kariton Art Gallery Stage at Mill lake Park (2387 Ware St.) in Abbotsford.
Kliewer started out as a member of his church choir. He later moved into quartets, trios, and duets.
Soon he found his stride as he ventured into the solo market and, as he has been heard to say, singing on your own offers more creative freedom to personally interpret the music.
The last 10 to 15 years Kliewer has moved his musical interests to include the styles of music often found in the post big band era. He has a fondness for singing the music of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and others.
His passion is singing love songs from that era.
