S+L Kitchen and Bar is one of 34 businesses participating in the City of Abbotsford’s Passport to Patios campaign.

The City of Abbotsford has launched a program that encourages residents to “Sit, Sip, Socialize!” at local patios.

The Passport to Patios campaign runs from June 1 to Aug. 31. Customers receive a sticker when they spend a minimum of $10 at a participating business.

The same business can be visited more than once (on different days) to receive a sticker, as long as the minimum amount is spent.

Once five stamps have been collected, they can be submitted through the city’s online form for a chance to win one of two weekly prizes, valued at $50 each. A picture, photocopy or scan of the completed passport must be submitted with the form.

Prizes are chosen at random and include gift cards.

The Passport to Patios campaign includes a virtual experience where participants can use a GIS mapping tool to help map out their destination.

Passports can be downloaded online or picked up at participating businesses.

Visit abbotsford.ca/passport2patios to download the passport, to view the list of the 34 participating patios or for more information.
