The Abbotsford Arts Council, in partnership with Envision Financial, has announced a call for musicians.
Applications are now being accepted for those interested in performing in the 2013 Envision Coffee House Concert Series and 2013 Envision Concert in the Park Series.
The two series provide local artists with the chance to perform in a relaxed and casual atmosphere while the community enjoys various musical genres ranging from jazz, blues and folk to country, rock and pop.
The 2013 concert series will consist of 28 concerts that will take place every Saturday evening between mid-May and late-November.
Concerts are hosted at participating coffee houses in Abbotsford as well as in Mill Lake Park at the Kariton Art Gallery outdoor stage.
Applications will be accepted until Feb. 18 and are available for download at abbotsfordartscouncil.org or for pick-up at the Kariton Art Gallery (2387 Ware St.).
Ensembles with at least one member with residence in the Fraser Valley region are invited to apply.
