Apple Tree features three plays in one

The three play musical production, The Apple Tree will take place at the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts (ASIA) Sumas Mountain Campus on April 18 and 19.

The April 18 show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $15 each. The next day, the show starts at 7 p.m. and includes a special dessert. Tickets are $20.

The Apple Tree consists of three mini plays and includes performers from grades 6-12.

The first show is The Diary of Adam and Eve, a touching spin of the world's first couple adapted from Mark Twain's Extracts from Adam's diary.

The second show is called The Lady or the Tiger and takes place in a somewhat barbaric kingdom. It's about love and jealousy based on Frank R. Stockton's The Lady or the Tiger?

The final show is Passionella, a cinderella story based on Jules Feiffer's Passionella.

The three shows are tied together by the theme of choice which is contained in each performance.
