Abbotsford author releases first novel

Eric H Janzen, a writer living in Abbotsford, has released his first novel, Ever They Fight. The release is set for Feb. 24.

Eric H Janzen, a writer living in Abbotsford, has released his first novel, Ever They Fight.

Everyone is invited to a book release event, planned for 7 p.m., on Feb. 24 at La Casa Coffee House on Mt. Lehman Road. The author will do a reading from the book and be available to sign copies.

Janzen’s main passion in writing has always been writing stories including an element of fantasy. Ever They Fight is a story that takes place in our current world, but quickly draws the reader into an adventure where another reality is revealed. And what happens there has very real consequences for our own world.

Eric has been writing for many years. In 1994 he had a book of poetry published, Spherical Harvest: New Voices from East and West, by Parkminster Publishing. He has written numerous articles and essays for the Clarion, Journal of Spirituality and Justice, an online journal exploring issues of faith, spirituality, and justice.
