The Abbotsford Youth Commission (AYC) hosts several activities in celebration of BC Youth Week (May 1 to 7).
All activities are free for youth ages 12 to 18.
Highlights include:
– the URoc Awards on Tuesday, May 3 at 3:30 p.m. in the youth centre at Abbotsford Recreation Centre (2499 McMillan Rd.) to honour outstanding youth, youth-friendly adults and youth-friendly businesses and organizations. An ice cream social follows.
– floor hockey with the Abbotsford Police Department on Thursday, May 5 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Ag-Rec Building at Exhibition Park. Pizza and prizes are included.
– Dodgeball Mania on Saturday, May 7 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the youth centre gym.
