The Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes takes place in Abbotsford on Sunday, June 10 at Rotary Stadium.
The community is among 70 across Canada that will raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which is working towards a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
Registration runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the walk begins at 2 p.m. Participants can choose from either a 2.5 km or 5 km route.
On-site activities include a climbing wall, mini golf, carnival games, crafts, clowns and more.
