The Christmas story will come to life at the Original Chilliwack Corn Maze, in a walk-through nativity organized by the Abbotsford Genesis Church.
The nativity will feature huge cast of local actors and animals, telling the story of Christ's birth with King Herod, Mary and Joseph, shepherds in the fields, the Wise Men and the angels pronouncing Jesus' birth.
The family event runs Dec. 19 and 20 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Dec. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The corn maze is located at 41095 Yale Rd. West in Chilliwack.
Organizers are encouraging visitors to donate non-perishable food items, as well as socks and mittens.
All food items will go to the food banks in Chilliwack and Abbotsford, while clothing will be donated to the 5 and 2 Ministries, an organization which ministers to those on the streets.
The venue is covered, but attendees should dress for the weather.
