Operation Red Nose is seeking volunteers for shifts in Abbotsford, starting Nov. 28.
The program, the primary annual fundraiser for PacificSport Fraser Valley, offers safe rides home during the holiday season.
This year, the program operates for nine dates in Abbotsford: Nov. 28 and 29, and Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 and 31.
Volunteers consist of three-person road team: one driver to drive the clients home in their vehicles, one escort car driver in his/her own vehicle and a navigator. A typical volunteer shift is from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Training is provided on each night of service.

Ride requests can be made only on the nights that the program operates by calling 604-864-4814. Road teams are dispatched in the order that the calls come in.
