VIDEO: Virtual Abbotsford International Airshow debuts online

2020 edition of the event moves to a virtual format in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic

Did you miss the Abbotsford International Airshow this weekend?

Those wanting their airshow fix had the opportunity to experience the thrill of the event in a virtual way.

AIA officials released a virtual airshow video on Saturday, which featured military demonstrations, aerobatic performances, static aircraft tours and the regular AIA announcers.

The video has attracted close to 6,000 views.

The AIA announced back on May 4 that the traditional version of the show would be cancelled for 2020.
