The Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley officially kicked off at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School on Thursday.

The ride’s opening ceremonies were held at the school, welcoming the riders to the nine-day event to spread the word and increase awareness in support of children and their families living with cancer.

The event runs until Sept. 30, with several stops being made throughout the Fraser Valley.
