Participants pounded the pavement at the 27th annual Abbotsford Police Challenge Run on Saturday.
The five-kilometre fun run/walk saw racers from all over the Fraser Valley converge at the Thunderbird Memorial Square to run, walk, and volunteer to raise money for Special Olympics British Columbia.
The Abbotsford Police Challenge Run has raised over $400,000 for local charities since its inaugural event. The run is driven by local volunteer efforts and the support of several local businesses.
