The coordinator of Victim Services for the Abbotsford Police Department has been named the Outstanding Staff of the Year by the Police Victim Services of B.C.
Renee Angelvette was among those honoured with the 2011 Awards of Excel-lence, presented Sat-urday (May 14) at the Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre.
She has worked for the APD since 2007. Victim Services provides support to victims of crime and traumatic events.
