Vancouver’s Christmas-light marriage proposal will celebrate wedding in Abbotsford

Xander Miller and Emilee Moore will wed on Aug. 15

A successful Christmas-light marriage proposal in Vancouver this week with conclude with an August wedding in Abbotsford.

On Tuesday, Dec. 17, Xander Miller surprised his girlfriend, Emilee Moore, on her 26th birthday with a proposal spelled out with Christmas lights in Coal Harbour’s Marina Square Park.

Miller told Moore he had to stop by a friend’s high-rise condo to pick to something up. When she walked through the door, she found the condo filled with flowers, lit candles and a view down at the electric message written in cursive below.

The couple have recently moved to Los Angeles but will celebrate their wedding surrounded by family and friends in Abbotsford on Aug. 15.
