Positive Living Fraser Valley Society hosts a fundraiser on Valentine’s Day with guitarist/entertainer Don Alder.
The event takes place Saturday, Feb. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, at 32315 South Fraser Way.
It features a 90-minute concert with Alder, plus a cash bar and appetizer including champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, wine and cheese, or beer and pretzels/nuts. Alder will read out love notes or short messages to loved ones for a small cash donation.

Alder is a renowned acoustic fingerstyle guitarist who has won several top modern guitar competitions and has multiple endorsement deals with major manufacturers.
He won Guitar Idol in England in 2011, as well as the 2010 Guitar Superstar Competition, among others.
