Tamara Van den Brink has been elected president of the board of directors for United Way Fraser Valley.
Van den Brink, a regional manager of financial planning at RBC Royal Bank, said she is honoured by this new role.
“My goal is to see the Fraser Valley be an even better place to live and raise a family,” she said.
“We have an opportunity over the coming year to strengthen our existing relationships and grow new ones in our local communities, which will allow us to have a greater impact on the lives of people who live in the Fraser Valley.”
Van den Brink moved to the Fraser Valley with her husband Sherwin six years ago. The couple has three young sons.
