A group of students at University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is holding a focus group on Thursday, March 29 for citizens to express what they like and don’t like about the city.
The session begins at 6:30 p.m. in room J250 at Highstreet shopping centre on Mt. Lehman Road. The students are part of a course at UFV looking to boost civic engagement in Abbotsford.
City hall contacted the university to put together a team of students to research ways they can boost voter engagement.
The team says the point of the focus group is ensure citizens are heard by the city.
