Four-year nursing students from University of the Fraser Valley host their annual health fair on Friday, Oct. 28.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre, 32900 South Fraser Way, continuing a tradition that spans 17 years.
The fairs are held in the fall and spring, with students creating booths and offering information on approved topics.
This year’s topics include: childhood immunizations, nutrition for school-age children, concussions in school-age children, influenza prevention, information about sleep for university/college students, stroke prevention/detection for adults, and disaster preparedness for the family.
The health fair will be located near the rear entrance of Sevenoaks, next to Dollar Giant.
