Anaesha Ridder and Emma Thomson will be awarded the highest award in Scouting – The Queen’s Venturer Scout Award – for acquiring competence and skills that are of considerable use to them, their Venturer Scout Company and their community.

The award signifies that the Venturer Scouts have both the character and ability to be of significant help to other people and have achieved very high standards in multiple areas of their lives.

The awards will be presented by Lieutenant-Governor Judith Guichon.

Scouts Canada is the country’s leading youth organization. This year is the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Venturer Scout Awards.
