The Trees of Hope campaign at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre has raised $9,000 for Holmberg House, Abbotsford’s new adult hospice facility.
Twenty-two organizations sponsored and decorated trees in Sevenoaks for the enjoyment of holiday shoppers from Nov. 28 to Dec. 26.
Nearly 800,000 customers viewed these trees, and had the opportunity to vote for the best decorated. They chose the tree by Abbotsford Children’s Theatre, with second prize going to Lee’s Fine Jewellery.
The hospice capital campaign has a goal of $7.5 million and has raised $5 million in donations and commitments to date.
