Tiny Light Foundation hosts picnic in Abbotsford

The organization has photographers across Canada who volunteer their time to take pictures of kids with life-altering medical conditions.

The Tiny Light Foundation holds its first free family picnic on Saturday, July 7 at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford.

The non-profit foundation provides professional photographs to children with life-altering medical conditions. It was established in December 2010 by photographers Melissa DePape of Chilliwack and Bille Depatie of Morinville, Alta.

Photographers from across Canada volunteer their time to do the work. To date, more than 500 families have been involved.

The picnic in Abbotsford is being held for the photographers and the Tiny Light families. It runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
