More than 30 youth from across the Fraser Valley gathered in Abbotsford on Sept. 24 for an event hosted by Development 4 a New Generation (D4NG).
The project is sponsored by University of the Fraser Valley’s (UFV) Global Development Institute and is designed to increase awareness of Canada’s approach to sustainable international development.
Participants aged 13 to 18 are encouraged to become involved in projects which improve the health, education and social conditions in developing nations.
Students at the workshop, held at UFV’s Abbotsford campus, listened to guest speakers, took part in group activities, and more.
