Hockey’s Holy Grail is coming to Abbotsford. The Stanley Cup, along with the Hart Trophy, given out every year to the most valuable player in the NHL, will be on display at The Honda Way in the Fraser Valley Auto Mall on Saturday, March 19.

From noon to 5 p.m., hockey fans can come out, and for a donation of $5, have their picture taken with the championship trophy. All proceeds will be donated to the new Abbotsford Canuck Place.

A maximum of 1,500 photos will be taken, so get your tickets early by dropping by The Honda Way or purchase them on the day of the event. Photos will be taken on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event.

“We excited to be able to do this for the community and to help a great cause,” said Chis Long, sales manager at Honda Way.

Long said a photographer will be on hand to take pictures, which will be emailed to each person after the event.

“We are expecting it to be really busy around here,” said Long.
