Square dance club hosts open house

Event, which happens on Sept. 12, begins at 7 p.m. in Abbotsford

The Abbotsford Grand Squares, a square and round dance club, hosts an open house on Monday, Sept.14.

The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Abbotsford Social Activity Association Hall, 33889 Essendene Ave.

There will be demos by line dancers, swing dancers and square dancers.

Guests and new dancers will have an opportunity to learn some square dance basics after the demos.

The club offers a 10-week program to people 12 years and older, starting Sept. 21, with the first three sessions free to new dancers.

Singles and couples are welcome.
