Spots left in John Goyer Memorial Charity Golf Tournament

Some spots are left in the Abbotsford Police Department's annual John Goyer Memorial Charity Golf Tournament.

The event takes place Monday, July 22, at Pagoda Ridge Golf Course on 264 Street in Langley, starting at 1 p.m.

The event raises funds for the ALS Society of B.C. and is held in memory of Const. John Goyer, who died of ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) in 2006 at the age of 40.

The cost to register for the tournament is $110, which includes golfing, a cart, dinner and prizes.
