The Canadian Forces Snowbirds proudly uphold the legacy of military aviation excellence. In their 48th season, the team continues to inspire with thrilling aerobatic performances.

The 2018 Snowbirds reflect the diversity and opportunities available equally to men and women in Canadian military. Each member of the Snowbirds’ team is a full-time serving member who demonstrates the skill, professionalism, discipline, dedication and teamwork essential to achieving aviation excellence. Their 2018 theme is “A Tradition of Military Aviation Excellence.”

This year’s Snowbirds are lead by Commanding Officer Lieutenant-Colonel Mike French, originally from nearby Langley. Captain Greg Hume-Powell from West Vancouver is also back for this year’s show, flying Snowbird 8 Lead Solo. And, pay close attention to Snowbird 2 Inner Right Wing, flown by Captain Sarah Dallaire from Quebec.

Truly a fan favourite, you won’t want to miss the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, performing at this year’s Airshow daily, August 10 through 12.
