About 300 people attend event on Friday at Abbotsford Banquet Hall

About 300 people attended the Fraser Valley Indo-Canadian Business Association’s annual Vaisakhi luncheon on Friday.

The event was held at the Abbotsford Banquet and Conference Centre, where the community was invited to enjoy a free vegetarian Indian buffet.

Among the people attending were politicians and community and business leaders.

Guest speaker was Andy Sidhu, UFV chancellor and owner/publisher of the Punjabi Patrika.
