WORKSHOP FOR CAREGIVERS

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. holds a workshop for caregivers of people with dementia on Friday, June 7 from 10:30 a.m.  to 3:30 p.m. at Garden Park Tower (#214 – 2825 Clearbrook Rd.) Participants will learn about dementia, practical coping strategies and early planning. BAHA’I EVENT

The Baha’i community in Abbotsford holds a free multi-faith dinner, devotional and discussion on Saturday, June 8. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Abbotsford Social Activity Association, 2631 Cyril St. Everyone is welcome.

MUSIC FUNDRAISER

Harmony Music Society, which sends kids to summer camp, holds a multi-family yard sale and barbecue on Saturday, June 8 to raise funds for the group. The event takes place at 33477 Mayfair Ave.
