The Peoples Drug Mart Walk for ALS takes place Saturday, June 13 at Mill Lake Park. Activities get underway at 10 a.m., and the 5 km walk begins at 11 a.m. Proceeds go to the ALS Society of B.C. Register at walkforals.ca.
ANONYMOUS ART SHOW
An opening reception takes place Saturday, June 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. for the second annual Anonymous Art Show Fundraiser at Kariton Gallery, 2387 Ware St. Each piece in the show is on an unframed canvas, and the artists remain anonymous until after their pieces are purchased. Abbotsford Magnuson Ford Soccer Club hosts its first Family Club Day on Saturday, June 13 at Bateman Park, starting at 10 a.m. The day includes skills competitions, soccer golf, a concession stand, mini games and tents from community groups.
