STAMP SHOW

The Fraser Valley Philatelic Club holds its annual AMPEX stamp show on Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the cafeteria of W. J. Mouat Secondary, 32355 Mouat Drive. Admission is free, and everyone is invited.

BUSINESS WOMEN

The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Abbotsford holds its monthly luncheon on Wednesday, April 10 at Cascade Community Church (35190 DeLair Rd.), starting at 11:30 a.m. Guest speaker is Barbara Sharp, a consultant in labour relations and conflict resolution. BENEFIT CONCERT

The Abbotsford Right to Life Society holds a spring benefit concert on Friday, April 5 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church (3215 Trethewey St.) from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Performances by musician and songwriter Johnny Markin, the MEI marching band and the MEI chamber choir. SCANDINAVIA CLUB

POETRY READING

The Poets Potpourri Society holds a Blue Moon Poetry Reading on Monday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Clearbrook Library (32320 George Ferguson Way). NATURE CLUB

The Abbotsford Mission Nature Club meets Wednesday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Abbotsford Middle School, 33231 Bevan Ave. Biologist Patrick Lilley discusses the status of butterflies in the Fraser Valley, threats to their survival, and how to conserve them. The Abbotsford Learning Plus Society holds two classes next week.
