Abbotsford locals can sing or listen to Christmas carols with the A-Tones’s sing-a-longs, every Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Seniors Association, at 33889 Essendene Ave.
The group celebrates older tunes including gospel, folk music, the blues and country.
Holiday music will be on the song list up until Christmas. All ages are invited, song lyrics are provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring instruments.
Organizers say the event is an excellent opportunity for those learning the English language, and for seniors who experience dementia.
