Sikh Spirit Bike Ride stops in Abbotsford

The event leaves from Mission on Saturday, Aug. 15

Abbotsford and Mission are among the communities where the Sikh Spirit Bike Ride will stop on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Event partners are the West Coast Sikh Youth Alliance, Khalsa Centre at Miracle Valley, Khalsa Schools and the Baba Fateh Singh Gatka Akhara.

The purpose of the ride is to promote enjoyment, inclusiveness, health living and a sense of community.

The ride leaves from Khalsa Centre (14100 Stave Lake Rd. in MIssion) at 6:30 a.m. and ends at Khalsa School on Old Yale Road in Surrey at 2:30 p.m.

Local stops take place at 8 a.m. at the Mission Visitor Centre (34033 Lougheed Hwy.) and at 10 a.m. at the Bandha Singh Bahadur Gurdwara (31631 South Fraser Way in Abbotsford).
