Sikh Riders hold event with proceeds going toward Fort McMurray

Fundraiser on Sunday starts in Abbotsford and ends in Vancouver

The Sikh Riders of Canada hold their first ride in honour of Sikh pioneers on Sunday, May 22.

Motorcyclists leave from the Sikh Temple at 33094 South Fraser Way in Abbotsford, where registration begins at 10 a.m.

Cost is $20 per person, including snacks and lunch. Profits will be donated to the Red Cross in support of Fort McMurray fire victims.

Riders travel from Abbotsford and then through Surrey and Stanley Park, ending at Memorial South Park at 5955 Ross St. in Vancouver.

The event is hosted by the Khalsa Diwan Society in Abbotsford and Vancouver.
