An Abbotsford student has placed second in a poster design competition for the 2011 Vancouver International Auto Show.

Sarah Eno, who is studying at Capilano University in North Vancouver, won a $500 cash prize for her poster showing the Burrard Street Bridge with its girders transformed to resemble a racing car.

The contest was open to second-year students from Capilano University’s applied arts program. The top prize of $1,000 went to Leah Vlemmiks of Vancouver, while third prize went to Samantha Smith of Kelowna.

The auto show runs from March 29 to April 3 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
