Division 3 students at Harry Sayers Elementary in Abbotsford display some of the bottles they have collected so far to raise funds for Elizabeth's Wildlife Center.

Harry Sayers Elementary is holding a bottle drive to raise funds for Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center in Abbotsford.

The school is collecting all refundable items in large bins that will be placed in front of the school (31321 Blueridge Drive) during school hours  (9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.) this week and next (June 17-21).

The items will then be sorted by Grade 4/5 students in division 3, and all funds turned over to the wildlife centre.

All students who bring in bottles can enter a draw for goodie bags that include items such as chalk, bubbles and colouring books.

Elizabeth's Wildlife Center was recently informed that its funding for summer students has been cut this year.
