Canada Safeway's annual fundraising and awareness-building campaign in support of Easter Seals and Special Olympics kicked off in Abbotsford on Saturday.
This year, during the month of April, Safeway customers are invited to donate $2 to the campaign in return for five Air Miles Reward Miles.
One hundred per cent of all funds raised go directly to programs to help local families.
Last year, more than $1.6 million was raised across Western Canada and Northern Ontario.
