A round-table discussion to address the federal government’s decision to stop funding the services of Positive Living Fraser Valley (PLFV) takes place Thursday, March 16.

The discussion, hosted by students of University of the Fraser Valley, starts at 6 p.m. at Mennonite Brethren Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd.

The feds announced last November that they were no longer funding PLFV, which provides the only services in the Fraser Valley for people living with HIV, AIDS and hepatitis C.

Following a keynote speaker on Thursday, smaller round-table discussions will focus on building an understanding of the experiences of people living with HIV, AIDS and hep C; what the loss of services will mean; and brainstorming ideas to ensure support in the future.

Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP at plfvrsvp@gmail.com
