The 17th annual Realtors Care Blanket Drive runs from Nov. 28 to Dec. 5 in Abbotsford and throughout the Fraser Valley/Lower Mainland.

Hundreds of real estate offices will serve as drop-off depots for new or used blankets, warm clothing, coats, sleeping bags, as well as new socks and underwear. Realtors will pick up, sort and deliver the donations.

The drive collects, on average, 4,300 bags of items in communities from Whistler to Chilliwack each year.

Donations stay in the community in which they are collected or, if the volumes are too large, go to charities in neighbouring communities.

Participating realty offices in Abbotsford are:

– Century 21 Ace Agencies, #2 – 33555 South Fraser Way;

– HomeLife Glenayre, #360 – 3033 Immel St.;

– Keller Williams Valley Realty, #102 – 32544 George Ferguson Way;

– Landmark Realty, #100 – 32555 Simon Ave.;

– Planet Group Hallmark Realty, #201 – 2580 Cedar Park Place; and

– Re/Max Little Oak Realty – #9 – 2630 Bourquin Crescent West.
