The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford is looking for people who are interested in joining their board of directors.
A press release says that the board is "dedicated to supporting the work of this not-for-profit organization as a cultural and community resource."
The board meets up to eight times per year, and directors can serve up to two consecutive three-year terms.
Applications are welcome from candidates of all backgrounds. Experience in financial management, human resources, contracts or the not-for-profit sector may be helpful.
"The Reach strives to create a board as diverse as our community and encourages applications from candidates who are IBPOC, LGBTQ2, persons who are differently abled, and new Canadians," the release states.
The Reach is the only professional public art gallery and a major repository for historical collections in the Fraser Valley.
Those interested in learning more about joining the board or who wish to apply with a brief expression of interest and resume can email board chair Laura Authier at board@thereach.ca.
