A barbecue organized to salute the city's protective services took place at Lepp Farm Market in Abbotsford on Saturday.
Abbotsford MP Ed Fast hosted the event which honoured local police, fire rescue and ambulance.
The event is in recognition of the brave men and women who put their lives at risk to keep the community of Abbotsford safe.
Remarks were given by Fast, Chief Constable of Police Bob Rich and Fire Chief Don Beer.
