Employees from Prospera Credit Union in Abbotsford and Mission were among those participating in the recent Day of Caring.
The annual event involves employees contributing volunteer hours for United Way agencies in their communities.
In total, almost 4,200 volunteer hours were contributed across B.C. for this year’s campaign in activities such as helping seniors with spring cleanup and gardening, sorting donations for the food bank, serving a meal and helping with renovation projects.
Agencies assisted in Abbotsford were Cyrus Centre, the Abbotsford Food Bank and Abbotsford Community Services.
