People braved cold, wet and windy weather to remember loved ones at a Christmas memorial event in Abbotsford Friday night.
Nearly 150 people came out to Forest of Memories, an event hosted by the Abbotsford Hospice and Grief Support Society at Bakerview Farms on Sumas Way on Dec. 13.
The free holiday activity combined live music, festive decorations and Santa, and created a warm and inviting atmosphere for people of all ages. There were rows and rows of decorated Christmas trees which guests walked through and admired.
People memorialized loved ones by writing names on ornaments and hanging them on trees that night.
