Last weekend the dahlia was celebrated as the Fraser Valley Dahlia Society presented its annual Fraser Valley Dahlia Show on Saturday and Sunday.
The event, which ran at the Garden Park Tower on Clearbrook Road, featured judging early morning on Saturday followed by the show being opened to the public at noon.
The event continued on Sunday with more viewings of the offerings, and then the awards were handed out.
