PHOTOS: Folks celebrate ‘great outdoors’ at rainy Yarrow Days parade

Thousands came out for annual parade, just one of many events happening at Yarrow Days

Rain didn’t dampen the spirits of parade-goers during the Yarrow Days celebrations on Saturday.

Thousands of people flocked to the small community of Yarrow in Chilliwack to take in the 52nd annual event, including the parade.

Horses, people in panda costumes, tractors and more made their way along Wilson Road and then down Yarrow Central Road as rain steadily fell on the morning of June 1.

The theme for this year’s Yarrow Days is The Great Outdoors. The three-day event runs Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2. For a full schedule, check out more online at theprogress.com/entertainment.
