Ducks Unlimited Canada brought its Duck and Run event to Abbotsford on Sunday (June 23).
The first-ever four kilometre fun run at Gardner Park (2880 Livingstone Ave.) supports the conservation and restoration of wetlands.
Proceeds from the event go to Ducks Unlimited Canada, the nation's leading conservation organization to dedicated wetlands.
Duck and Run is an all-ages run held in communities across Canada on June 22 and 23.
The event aimed to raise $60,000 across all Duck and Run locations. Events ranged from one-kilometre to five-kilometre distances, and participants also had an option to complete an independent 10,000-step virtual challenge.
