Deb Lowell (left) of the Salvation Army and Wendy Neufeld, chair of the Abbotsford Community Foundation, celebrate at the foundation’s Smart and Caring Gala held Saturday night at the Ramada Plaza and Conference Centre in Abbotsford. The event, which had a 1980s theme, raised money for the Smart and Caring Campaign in support of programs and projects that help children living in poverty.
