Abbotsford residents gathered at Mill Lake Park on Sunday to raise funds for hospice palliative care programs and services.
While the hike is coordinated nationally, due to the generous financial support of GSK and Bayshore HealthCare, 100 per cent of the funds raised will remain in Abbotsford, and will be used to support volunteer programs.
The money raised through the hike helps the Abbotsford Hospice provide physical, emotional and social support to patients and their families.
