An Abbotsford restaurant recently raised more than $1,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
The site was among 23 Noodlebox locations that raised a total of $27,000 for the CMHA on Sept. 15.
Half of the restaurants’ proceeds on that day went to the CMHA, which Noodlebox has supported since 2014.
The chain’s day to give back is held every September, and in the previous six years raised more than $100,000.
The money donated to the CMHA goes towards their Bounce Back program, their National Suicide Prevention program and other services.

Noodlebox began as a small food cart in Victoria in 2001 and now has 23 locations in B.C. and Alberta.
The Abbotsford location is at 2455 West Railway St.
